What began as a thoughtfully designed, adaptable spec suite now embodies the brand identity of A.R.T. Furniture. Nestled between two existing offices, the space had minimal natural light from just two large opposing windows. To brighten things up, the Sym8 design team angled each floor-to-ceiling glass office front, maximizing the natural light and expanding views throughout the suite. This project highlights the advantage of pre-built spec suites, where building owners can significantly expedite tenant move-in times. Following insightful discussions with the client, the design team transformed architectural elements into cultural and brand expressions. Vibrant touches of nature-inspired décor create a captivating contrast to the custom-painted ductwork. Here, a graffiti artist painted inspirational words, echoing the company’s practice of incorporating artistic elements within its manufacturing facilities in China.
